Once again you draw your coat tightly around you,
Rearrange your scarves,
Pull on your gloves,
And go outside.
You leave up the High Street Feeling your thoughts stopping as if in frozen slush.

Undoubtedly, your girlfriend with a different boy closeted in a tea shop,
That haunt of happy couples.
Scowling, you bow your head against the swirling and trudge on.
