Why Am I So Silent?

When you hurt
The ones I love
I scream at you
I rant
I rave
I make you beg
To be forgiven
You just want me to go away
When you hurt
The ones I hate
I shriek at you
I howl
I cry
I make you tell them
It was all a joke
You want my to stop giving you
A headache
But when you hurt
Me, only me
I stare at you
I blink
I breathe
I walk away
Not saying anything
I do just what you want me too
Why am I so silent?
Am I not worth
The shouts I gave
When you hurt others?
Maybe, I am waiting
Waiting…
Waiting; for someone to scream for me.

Wow this is so good! There is so much emotion, and I can totally relate to it! It's so much easier to stand up for other people than for yourself and just wanting, for once, to be on the receiving end and for someone to stand up for you.
