Picture Perfect
Perfect can’t describe her
She knows what she’s doing
Acing all her tests
Helping her mother at home
She’s smarter than everyone else
She’s beautiful and tall
And graceful too
Hardly ever makes a mistake
And never repeats the ones she has made
She takes care of her siblings
Without a word of complaint
She does the housework
And never asks for anything in return
She is a picture perfect daughter
Running through my mother’s dreams
My mom mistakes me for her
Why can’t she see that that’s not me?
