If I had known then, what I know now,
I would have been different from beginning to end.
If I had know then, what I know now,
I would not have free falled into sin.
If I had known then, what I know now,
we would never be friends again.
If I had know then, what I know now,
I would have been on the mountain instead of the mire.
If I had known then, what I know now,
God would not have to dig me out of the hole I placed myself in.
If I had known then, what I know now,
I would have not have placed myself on path I trudged on.
If I had known then, what I know now,
I would not be me.
