Black Blizzards destroyed my yield,
forcing me to abandon my home.
I am helpless and sad,
clinging onto hope,
hope that the promise of opprtunity still exist
out there far west,
disregarding peoples stories of non-fulfillment,
lack of justice,
and broken promises.
I have only hope,
hope that will keep me moving foward,
until thwere is no hope left.
