If there is such a thing as He
then why did this
happen to me?

If there is such a thing as He
then why did this
happen to we?

For we starved
For we were in pain
we all watched the ones we love die
and all You did was watch and stand by.

If there is such a thing as He
then why did the world keep silent?
Did You cause them blind sight?
Did You give them no sign?

If there is such a thing as He
then why did this happen to we?

The author's comments:
This piece is about the Haloucaust with the jews.......... if you have ever read the book Night by Elie Weisel then this poem was based on the characters that started to lose faith in God's power.
