Red tears down my face,
on my sleeve.
I'm dying on the inside
My wet eyes follow you,
on the door.
Farewell Love.
I knew you only years,
months, days.
Those tiresome days
Ending with a kiss,
No energy.
Love, don't walk out.
I know not of your back
My heart only knows your eyes,
your legs, your hands.
I held them everyday
It was never enough
Love, don't walk out
I will call you
I would write you,
Letters of my day, my thoughts,
my smiles.
You were my smiles
I have said your name many times before
If I should yell it now,
I will sound no different.
You will walk no different.
I will cry no different.
Love, come back.

The author's comments:
I wrote this piece because I was almost sure I wanted this person out of my life, until he was actually gone. Then I noticed how different my life would change. It's crazy how used to him I got and how everyday was almost routine-ish. But eventually everybody needs a change.
