I inhale the last breath,
I will ever take.
The air holds shaky,
And I can’t escape my fate.
Slowly I tell myself to relax,
That this is the end.
That all the pain and sorrow,
Will never fill me again.
I close my eyes as the last molecule of air,
Slips away.
The water around me turns to scarlet,
All I can do is stare.
Thinking now everything
Will finally be okay
