We Cry

Bombs rain from thunder caps
The hungry fires rage
Differences are magnified
In the blindfolding blaze

Women running in the street
Men fighting just to feel
The loss of mind
The loss of heart
Hatred’s the only thing that’s real

No hope for peace
No hope for love
Clear blue skies are dieing

But they are not the only ones
Say the faces stained from crying

This poem serves as a reminder of all the pain war causes. It is a reflection of the inhumanity of hostility and all the people it affects.
