monotonous clicking in the background
shadows enveloping the scene
surprise! a scuffle and a high pitched squeal
from the depths of his brotherly infested dungeon
rejected by his family he drearily struggles
at the brink of collapsing, he realizes
there’s a chunk of gold loitering in the confines
of the ill-kept sector
resting on top of a vanilla brick, mouth forced open
like a wild cat, he bends his knees, ready to pounce
after carefully waiting for just the right moment,
he jumps.
and it all turns black.

This is a poem created for an assignment to figuratively describe an event or thing. The poem was then sent to the photography class in my school to be turned into a photo representing the interpretation that the photographer saw from my poem.
