Is It Worth It?

I watch the rain,
As it goes drip, drop,
Across a watery face.
I soon remembered that dreadful day.

I woke up and turn off the alarm,
I wipe away more tears,
I hide my sadness from him,
He kisses me gently.

He senses something wrong.
I walk down the stairs,
Only remembering her.
I sit and let the tears fall.

It is worth living anymore?
My life will never be the same.
It was all my fault.
I could have saved her.

Poor Melanie,
She was all I ever had,
I should have reminded her,
To wear her helmet.

I sit on the wet grass,
Right next to where her body laid,
Exactly six years before.
Is it worth living anymore?

I could never imagine,
My life without her.
She was my precious little girl,
And I loved her.

I could never get her back,
But she was in a better place.
She was my darling angel.
It is not worth living anymore.
