What’s the Dream?
Dr .King
Or Obama being our king, head chief,
whatever you want him to be
Or is it just being free
Having Billions like Oprah Winfrey
You tell me
But why are we thinking about living the dream
No disrespect to Dr. King
But why not wake up and live reality
Where in the hood there isn’t just screams there are dreams
How blacks and whites still divide themselves
Even though we got a black President
Doesn’t mean
We live the dream
Why does Dr. King’s dream count so much?
What about all the kids who go to school everyday and get punched
Or jacked for their lunch
They have dreams too. So why we can’t live theirs?
Why because were stuck in his
Dr. King did a lot for African Americans,
But reality says it’s more important.
STOP LIVING HIS LIFE DREAM AND WAKE UP AND LIVE REALITY!
