Pure Life
I am from Bratz dolls and Miss Mary Mac,
From hanging with neighborhood kids and Bowcraft adventures.
I am from many years of school and unfinished homework,
From boxes of gummy bears and tummy aches.
I am from hating dresses and my princess,
From stuffed shells and my old dog UDO.
I am from naming my house, Ginger, and ferbrezing the air,
From bratty sisters and mean brothers.
I am from Bagel Pantry and broken arms,
From made up stories and fake friends.
I am from trying to fit in and many tears,
From broken laptops and stolen money.
I am from girl scouts and marching band,
From neat catch phrases and made-up words.
I am from sandwich-making movies under the stars,
From the exorcist toilet and setting off alarms.
All of these moments are so very special,
And never forgotten in memory.
