In the dawn of life,
Curious of what’s to come.
We reach to touch, feel.
The growing process is near,
Learning life’s simple pleasures.
Naïve but willing,
Still too young to realize.
The life you have now,
Is just waiting to be treasured
Not to be taken for granted.
Thankful to still wake,
Fulfilled by God’s precious gifts.
Wisdom came in quantities.
Touched by the God’s mighty hand.
Laid to rest and sent above.
