Where’s all this intense emotion coming from?

I see it
In your eyes
Your beautiful eyes.
Once so loving and full of life
Now they are empty.
Like staring down on old murky well
With an endless supply of tears.

I see it
In the bloodstains on my shoes
They were so white
So clean
So new
Until I crushed the
Heart of someone I loved
Or perhaps never loved
Beneath them.

All you do is cry.
And I’m the once with the bloodstains.
