Fundamentalism

Fallen angel from the sky,
Please do dare and tell me, why?
For the crucifix I hold
Lingers in my fingers, cold.

Sculpted statue in the wall,
Come to life to hear my call;
For the puff of smoke I blow
Creates a blurry shadow.

Lying there, broken and sharp,
Are the pieces of my heart:
Represented by His Cross
Now a disgraceful chaos.

I feel like a some (very few) rhymes are a little forced... But otherwise, I like the idea as a whole. You broke your rhythm a little, but I like what you had going^^  Keep up the good work!
