Whispers.
I do not look up as they fill the hallways
Every whisper filled with the sound of my name
I do not speak as they look over me, gossiping.
Their eyes tear through my confidence.
Tears that sting my eyes find a crystal path down my cheeks.
They continue, forever labeling me as “The Girl Who …”
