What is it about oranges that truly is deranged?
Their feel, their peel, their zest, what makes an orange strange?
Not only a color, or an acidic fruit.
An orange is exquisite, like the whimsical flute.
The orange, she is perfect, there's nothing to add.
Without armor, she's beautiful, especially clad.
So who would want to kill and devour,
Something so faultless in its ripest hour?
