Leaves blowing in the wind,
A cold Autumn day, I see you standing across the street staring this way.
Your blue eyes locked on me,
your blond hair dancing with the wind.
When a car goes by, you disappear.
All I can see is the place you once stood,
only 20 feet away.
Was that really you that looked at me the way you always had?
Why did you leave me once again?
