Favorite Quote:
Watch and pray, never get tired of trying, and never think it is impossible to conquer your faults.

I saw your picture
In a frame
Smiling through
The pain
Your love and faith
Forever enduring
Your strength
Through it all
You didn't have
To fight this battle
You knew the fate
To come
You could have
Let it overcome
Without the fight
Yet you still
Hung on
Your love for others
So strong
You didn't want
Them to hurt
So you took the pain
And gave out smiles
Your heart
Overflowing with love
You may have lost
The battle against ALS
But yours the victory to keep
Your in heaven
And even though your gone now
Mamma you'll always be
My super hero

The author's comments:
I wrote this poem shortly after my mom died of ALS. She is and will always be my super hero. I wish she were here for me to thank her for the effort she put into me even after I disappointed her time and time again.
