Beauty From Pain

I love the feeling of the knife against my skin.
I love the pain when the people laugh.

I love the sensation of rejection.
I love the looks people give me.

I love the nights when I stay up crying until I fall asleep.
I love the humility found in every move I make.

That’s what everybody sees in me.

I’m like their human sacrifice.

The outcast.

The creep.

I hate the feeling of the knife against my skin.
I hate the pain when people laugh.

I hate the sensation of rejection.
I hate the looks people give me.

I hate the nights when I stay up crying until I fall asleep.
I hate the humility found in every move I make.
I hate this life.
This everlasting death.
This hurting.
I’m scared.
I’m alone.
