My Best Friend
When we first met I thought you were a little weird
With your glasses and your long light brown hair,
And your brown eyes to match.
Your laugh is like no other,
We started hanging out because of my brother,
He introduced us when we were outside,
Playing kick the can while listening to music
We went to pinky’s park and
picked petunias while playing pacman.
We started visiting each other
having sleepovers,
that’s when I knew you were my best friend
and I didn’t know what I would do
without you.
You always made me laugh
and be happy with your awesome, positive personality.
You are never mad and always in a good mood
And that is what I love about you,
Melanie Carrie R. “Plucky”
YOU are my best friend.
