You left me so long ago
It seems like a lifetime
So much has changed
Since we were six
And you were still here
I think I see you sometimes
I see your blonde ringlets
I think I see your gappy smile
I see your Barcelona blue eyes
And wish you were still here
I have so many things
I want to say to you:
I'm sorry tops the list;
Sorry I didn't save you,
Sorry I let him hurt you
I'm sorry you're gone
And I wish you were still here
I wish you could see
All the pain the accident caused me
I wish you could've heard me,
All the times
I spoke through sobs
Telling you how sorry I am
For not saving you.
I wish you were still here.
