Beat as in tempo
Stick to the beat
Play within the time
Adhere to the rhyme
Or Beat as in Old
Dumb we don’t Care anymore
Your logic is worn-out beyond Recognition
Really it is Beat like I never know
Beat is Being alive
A fervor for life for experiences for new
Beat is being alive.
There is “the promise of every cobbled alley so great”
Would that it were so for me.
There are no more cobbled streets and no more experiences to try
Just a timer until my time is up
