Trapped

Pain
Their anger lashes out
Like hungry fire
Over my raw burns
Creating more blisters
Eternally festering

Damage
They never understand
Tears stream down
Onto the pillow
Like a salty river
Murky and polluted

Afraid
A thousand ideas
Collide in my head
But there’s no one to talk to
Nowhere to turn
Because I’m too afraid of the flames

Thanks. I've never shown anyone this poem, so I appreciate your feelings about it.
