Fearsome men.
Child, run away.
They ask for little girls,
To come out and play.
Alone, they feel.
Just want you to care.
Just want to ask you,
"Why weren't you there?"
How would YOU feel?
If you were forced against your will?
If everyone thought your behavior,
Was run-of-the-mill?
We do feel alone.
Like we can't escape.
We wait for our lives to be done.
So we don't have to experience the rape.
So next time you see
A girl shed her tears
Try a little harder
To calm her fears.
