Blue-eyed boy, won't you sing me to sleep?
My heart was once lost, but it's yours now to keep.
All those other heart-breakers have long since gone,
But I know you'll be there at the first sign of dawn.
When the sun slowly rises in that new morning sky,
Your heart will beat and mine will reply.
They'll speak in whispers that none understand,
And you'll capture my soul with your guitar in hand.
