Oh food, you seem so simple at first
I take a bite of our friendship and swallow without tasting.
Then when I am done I realize you are gone.
I long to taste you here again to savor our time together
I should have paid more attention
Your flavor tingled my senses
You gave me a tingling down my spine
It’s sad that I just took it for granted when it was all I ever wanted
I will think of this feeling until the next food comes around.
So I have learned from you
One simple thing, oh food, that I should find something I like and savor it while it is here.

First of all its not actually about food. its about one of my friends who recently moved and i just feel like i didn't get to hang out with them enough and i just miss them. i will try to remember this experience with my friends right now.
remember to enjoy who they are, not blow them off and cherish every moment with them.

You have some skills, keep it up.

If I had a friend like you I would miss him/her. I find your poem totally true.
