It begins with a seed
Taking its time to grow and
Ripen
They come in different shapes,
Sizes and colors
Some are sweet and others are sour
But soon they start to rotten and shrivel
Like the age spots on the skin of a banana
Soon the banana is discarded
New ones on the table the next day
