Like a bird
Taking off
Without reason
Swooping
And falling
Twisting and turning
Like a leaf
On an autumn breeze
Until it drops
To the ground
Dispirited
Exhausted
Without hope
Then suddenly
From nowhere
It finds new strength
And slowly
It flies higher
And higher
Gliding and soaring
Carefree
Alive

Ok, this is my first proper attempt at writing a poem like this, and I've never posted anything on here before, so if it's awful then don't criticize me too harshly!
