My Monsters don't hide under the bed,
Or in the Closet.
They follow me around in broad daylight.
They're not normal.
Monsters run and hide when you get older.
But mine, mine are still here.
Never leaving.
No matter what I do.
My Monsters are different.
Can I have yours?

The author's comments:
I don't know really. It was back when I was really depressed. I had this problem, and I felt like they were monsters that never left me alone. So I just picked up my book and started writing.
