Balloon Ride

April 16, 2010

Forever endeavor; we’ll never say never.
Our future is bright, with the sun as our light.
All feels so fine; we might be divine.
With friends so kind, we take a trip in my mind,
Like a hot air balloon. We set off at noon.
The false trip begins, and I drift in the wind.
My hopes are cut with the rest of the ropes.
The truth is too grim, and I never win.
