Timeless piece.
My mind is like a clock without a tick.
As I try to write this verse.
I smell the fresh air.
I see my teacher standing over there.
I taste the gum in my mouth.
I hear the voices of others.
I feel the cool breeze on my face.
My thoughts are slipping like sand through an hour glass.
I would much rather be in California.
I can’t wait for the bell to ring so I can say “adios.”
“Go find some inspiration” my teacher says.
The poem peaks beneath my pin.
I need a wish alarm.
I remember my thoughts before but they always slip away.
I just want to go run around.
A playful cat wearing a unique hat.
I have a tickles time piece.
