Thin translucent glass
Allows the sunshine
To pour through
Illuminating and bright

Somehow shattered
Shards lying on the cool cement
Its jagged points
Rigid and glinting

When touched
A portal of pain
Broken open engulfing
Deeper and Deeper

No way of turning back
Those small pieces
Holding so much danger
This fear of broken glass

Thank you, yes even though I actually have not experienced an injure due to broken glass I still fear the worst, like death, can happen. Also, I will make note of not throwing stones near windows...thanks again for you comment!
