Pounding,
out the miles lying ahead of me.
Distance,
the freedom pushes me.
Sweating,
pulse of my heart intensifying.
Burning,
muscles aching with new strength.
Passion,
the yearning for thoughtlessness.
Nature,
stories unknown as animals scamper.
Stress,
stolen by peaceful serenity.
Voices,
people speaking condescendingly,
Gone,
Away.
Freedom,
in my own mind, soul.
Running,
thoughtless,
My Clarity.
