Dairy Farm
Dairy Farm
A dairy farm up in flames,
Helpless to remain the same.
The briefest whispers cross the air
Muttering, “Life’s not fair.”
A family left without a home
Because of horrors still unknown.
A war fought on a verdant front;
Browned now after taking the brunt
A lie, a laugh, and a spark of fire
Left the dairy burning higher.
A blink and the buildings crumbled.
A distant “Moo” was mumbled.
