lay down your weapon

I’ve been locked up a long time baby
Since I was nine
And you caught my eye
These bars of lust kept me trapped
Made me fall on flat ground
Made me jump with the slightest touch
Made me scream with that weapon you call a heart
Lay down
Lay down
Lay down
Your weapon
The prison guards name is right
His twin is left
They both trace over me
Muting my yells for help
Caving in on my avalanche of purity
Do I care?
Will you let me?
Or will that weapon you call a heart pull the trigger before I can decide?
Lay down
Lay down
Lay down
Your weapon
I’ve been locked up a long time baby
Since I was nine
And you caught my eye
My sentence is over
I’m leaving this hell hole
Leaving it all behind
Your weapon is out of bullets
Lay down
Lay down
Lay down
…Your weapon…

Great job.  I think this is a great inspiration for a song.  I don't know if you're into that.
