I have fallen;
It’s official.

Not just a step,
Down fast without reason.

My hope is what was lost,
But it was found shortly after,
In place of me it was another.

As I let moments happen with trust in mind,
You cannot know of how I lurk in such isolation.

This is a moment of loss,
An obscure state of mind,
Yet it must appear solemn,
A subtle deprivation from familiarity.

Our eyes see different occasions though,
Our souls acquire different damage,
It mustn’t seem heavy since your soul isn’t facing this alone.

As I wonder in lost sanity,
Trying to make sense of it all,
The realization of many explanations enter,
Now experience this discomfort as it cannot be escaped.

Misplaced in this world,
Beginning to comprehend the mirages I posses,
They were forsaken moments of a former existence.

I sit with myself,
On this journey to find the long forgotten emotions I left behind,
I seldom stumble across an outlook I once knew,
Just a window to the past,
An unlocked door no longer,
Very unpleasant discoveries are now all I know.

I wish sense of this all,
And until it arrives I will wonder in this insane mind.
