Who are you?
I asked the girl in the mirror
Are you strong and stubborn?
I flared my nostrils and glared
Are you a dinky little nobody?
I hid behind my hair
What made me this way?
Why did I have yellow hair and a small mouth?
The girl just looked at me
with those eyes that weren't quite blue or green or gray
She made me angry
that stranger who would not answer
Stop staring at me!
I yelled
