are you?
Feeling under the weather?
He stirs the brewing storm
in your forecast.
Your painstaking collage
blows piece by piece
astray.
Where
are you?
Hiding in fear of the tempest?
Your footsteps follow
those of your wise, furry friends.
Yet your carved-out path ends,
you thrust out a stubbornly patient hand.
You know.
The eye is the calmest place
to wait.
Who
are you?
No sister of mine
would be caught by a storm.
Yet along you click,
red shoes heading down
that endless yellow brick road.
