Eyes watch
hollow holes
and sunken lights

Ears ring
with silent bells
and silent screams

Landscapes undulate in exhaustion
creeping their way
to cover the dead

skies sigh in desperation
helpless to the helpless
concealing the stars

winds whisper cruel words
that whip the cheeks
of the dying humans

flames gasp
at ashy air
drowning the weak

silence
