Sometimes I find myself missing the taste of your skin.
A certain song comes through the speakers to my ears,
and my body is thrown into a sea of memories.
And I can feel the beat of your heart as I trace your bare chest with my fingers.
I love the way you breathe as I bite your neck –
you’re body shivers and shakes, and your rhythm turns to one of precarious beats.
Your pulse jumps beneath my lips, as your hands come in closer to the bone of my hips.
And isn’t it so beautiful to feel this high within your grasp?
Something in the darkness of your room and the comfort of your bed,
brings forth an eerie calm in the core of my head.
Suddenly the world that lurks beyond the window and within the moon’s cold light,
seems so distant, so separate, so far out of sight.
Something about the way your pupil’s stream into my soul,
builds a form of armor that no man could ever afford.
It is stronger than anything I have ever known.
With each beat of this symphony,
I am falling,

falling,

falling for you.
But with the last strike of the final riveting note,
I look back on these words, and
feel nothing of the love that I just wrote.
