"I was thinking how nothing lasts and what a shame that is."-Benjamin Button

Sometimes you sit when you don’t know a thing
Blurred vision and a handkerchief
Mystical experience astounding your thoughts
Lock eyes with the Buddha on the clock
Ring of mushrooms across your path
Do not look into the eerie twilight
Alas, alas!
Swords of warriors’ might
with the lion’s lime dagger between
Sing my song and I will make you anew
The temptress said
Sing my song and I will make you anew!
Sometimes strike down
with the waterfall befall
Most things are not clear
They are loud and they hurt
Draw attention to my aching scars and sorrowful face
Sit and weep in the corner of your bed
I may, I may
Choke and strangle and hurt it all back
A beating heart still inside
I feel it thrust and cry
when all the bad comes boggling down
I can’t breathe not because I smoke
I can’t breathe because the weight of the world suffocates me!
And I will shout and I will scream when you bury me down
I will be louder than life at my funeral ground
I will listen to a mermaid’s shell
whisper my secrets to her
so she can use them for singing sailors to their grave
They will join me in my grave
I will tell them again!
until they cover their ears
saying no more! no more!
Death was tragic enough! too much! too much!
Life in itself gives reason to die
This is all where I lie
