"Let the beauty we love be what we do. There are hundreds ways to kneel and kiss the ground." - Rumi

Like smoke, coils
around my neck,
catching in my throat,
strangling my words.

I

choke down my
sobs as the blows
continue to rain down.
Naive, I

never

would have known
three simple words could
so utterly change a
person. I doubt you even

knew

what love is. Was
it all just a lie? Was
it all just blind desire?
Us. Me.

You.

Together forever.
All lies. Tell me,
Is this what you wanted?
... Do I even want to know?

Eh. I suppose I was quite the depressing kid during this growing stage in my life. Glad that's over with.

Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take... but by the moments that take your breath away.

I love this poem! You really are  a great writer!(:
