The day is coming
For me to say
God is my hero
Everyday
He stands beside me
And he holds my hand
He smiles when I smile
He cries when I cry
And he is angry when I am hurt
He loves me no matter what
He stands beside me
Even in the dark
He is my hero
The one I depend on
Day and Night
He's by my side
I know I can trust
The one I call hero
The one I call friend
The one I call God
My hero forever
