Full moon bright
Know you; I saved a life this night?
I hadn’t a clue what to say
But I chose my words carefully
For I knew
They may have been the last she ever heard

I’d been there once before
Teetering on the edge, wanting all to cease
So I knew she wanted truth
Truth was all I could give her

And with that truth
I kept her life
Truth from deep within, allowed me to win
Never had I been so scared
Scared to lose someone so close

I kept my calm
Though earlier I broke down
No longer on the ground
I helped her see the light
Full moon bright
