Our lives split
At the fork in the road 
We had to say goodbye
I can see you from where I am
So close
But so far
How I am longing to be with you
I hope there is another fork in the road
Someday 
So our paths may cross again

The author's comments:
I had an old team, we were like family. But when high school started our team was no more... I never really even got to say goodbye to anybody. A few weeks ago I saw them andi was completely out of their lives. It was tough. I believe this poem is my goodbye to them.
