Speed,
agility and strength,
mind set and goals,
run fast turn left,
zone out, see blurs,
only a black straight,
or perhaps you have a curve,
no looking back,
endurance, smooth, on your toes,
hand off like it was never there,
give it all you've got,
finish line,
done.


The author's comments:
Track season just started, and after the first week of practice, I decided that I wanted to write something about it.
