Crashes of distant thunder
Comforting because you know your safe
The core of Earth holds so many secrets
And the whispered words define us
Knowing that the unknown
Can be spotted on the low horizon
Wind drifting memories
Of long forgotten footsteps
Permanet proof washed away
By the growling bird
Talons clutching
All that is left
