Hi
I'm that nerd girl
The one you walk past in the hallway
her books on the floor
But a smile on her face
laughing
I'm her
I'm that nerd girl
who reads at lunch time
and recess
and is classified as teacher's pet
I don't mean to be
But i like it
i like being me
it is fun because
nobody expects me to be
crazy perfect
or gorgeous
they just expect
me
So I'm that nerd girl

I just wrote this because I was thinking about how people think it is so great to be popular when it is more fun to be the nerd. No one expects you to wear the coolest clothes. You can just do something dumb or dorky without your whole reputation banking on it. No one is looking at you and judging you harshly about your appearance. You may get your butt kicked or you may recieve a swirly but it serves as an awesome story to your kids! :)I just like to look at the bright side of things!
